VERONICA GREGORYJOSEPH STRANGIS
XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Joseph Albert Strangis and his bride, the former Veronica Therese Gregory, both of Hilliard, honeymooned in Las Vegas after their wedding Sept. 18 at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
The Rev. Nicholas Shori officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Paul and Roni Sue Gregory of Canfield and the son of Joseph and Jennifer Strangis of Boardman and Linda and Ron DiBasilio of Charleroi, Pa.
A reception followed at Fonderlac Country Club, New Springfield.
Beaded embroidery highlighted the bride's ivory silk satin gown styled with an A-line skirt and chapel train.
Honor attendants were Stephanie Palovich, Fort Myers, Fla., the bride's cousin, and Melissa Gregory, Powell, her sister-in-law. Bridesmaids were Nicole Damico and Tabitha Fisher, both of Columbus; Karen Devine, Strongsville; and Kim Covelli, Pittsburgh, the groom's sister. They wore garnet-colored dresses.
Matt Reis of Charleroi served as best man. Groomsmen were Marc Gregory of Powell and Joseph Gregory of Canfield, the bride's brothers; Sean Binsley, Boardman, the groom's brother; Patrick White of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; and Quinn Fisher of Columbus.
Mrs. Strangis is the assistant director of catering with Schmidt's Hospitality Concepts, Galloway. She has a bachelor's degree in applied science from Youngstown State University.
Mr. Strangis graduated from Ohio University, Athens, with a bachelor's in education. He is employed by the Bonefish Grill, Columbus.
