YOUNGSTOWN -- "Napa Valley to the Mahoning Valley," an evening of wine, food, art and jazz, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel.
The event has been planned as a benefit for the Paula and Anthony Rich Center for the Study and Treatment of Autism, located on the campus of Youngstown State University, and the Danny Price Charities, which provides scholarships for area students.
Served through the evening will be the best of Napa Valley wines. The wines will complement a variety of foods including fish, pasta, lamb and sirloin, which will be available at seven dinner "grazing" stations arranged throughout the hall.
Up for bid
Twenty-four art works created by the area's premiere artists will be available through a silent auction for the small pieces and a live auction for the larger works.
Also auctioned will be the choice of a trip to Napa Valley Wineries in California, a tour of New York City Museums or a complete wine cellar.
Jazz musicians will entertain guests throughout the evening.
The cost for the evening is $50 per person. Although advanced reservations are preferred, tickets will be available at the door.
