ASSOCIATIONS
XBoardman-Canfield Branch of the American Association of University Women will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at Boardman Library on Glenwood Avenue, Boardman. The program will be presented by Mary Cohen, director of the Potter's Wheel. Hostesses will be Shirley Shaferand Jeanne Vild. All college graduates are welcome. CLUBS
XOhio Cultural Alliance will hold a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 1 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 220 N. Walnut St., Youngstown. A Greek meal will be prepared by Balaci Christian, and Georgio and Stefanos Theofilis will play Greek songs. The theme is "The Immigrant Experience: From Greece to the Mahoning Valley." Speaker will be Dr. James Kiriazis, who is of Greek ancestry and has been affiliated with Youngstown State University for nearly 50 years. XA meeting of the Downtown Youngstown Kiwanis will be held at noon Fridayat the YMCA. The speaker will be Keith Kaiser, director of Fellows Riverside Gardens.

XPhi Delta Kappa will hold a dinner and meeting Nov. 4 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. The guest speaker will be state Rep. John Boccieri. Educators or education majors are welcome. VETERANS
XDistrict Eight Department of Ohio VFW and Auxiliary will hold its annual military ball Nov. 6 at Firestone VFW 3383 Post, 690 W. Waterloo Road, Akron. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30. Tickets are $16 and include dinner and dancing. Reservations are due by Nov. 1, and no tickets will be sold at the door.
