Q. Why do they still show Jason Wiles in the opening credits of "Third Watch"? Isn't he the actor who played Bobby, the paramedic who was killed several seasons ago? Did something happen to Wiles and they show his picture "in memory of"? -- B.B., Roanoake, Va.
A. You've got your "Third Watch" cast members a little mixed up. Wiles is currently appearing in the NBC drama in the role of police officer "Bosco" Boscorelli. It was Bobby Cannavale -- as Bobby Caffey -- who left the show in 2001. Cannavale is currently playing Will's boyfriend, Vince, on the NBC comedy "Will & amp; Grace."
Q. The last episode of "Amish in the City" was changed to a different night that we missed. Which ones of the Amish went home and which stayed? -- H.T., Waterford, Pa.
A. Without much warning, UPN showed the show's finale on Sept. 21, a day earlier than originally scheduled, so you're not the only one who missed the outcome. None of the five Amish chose to return home. Jonas, Mose and Mirium opted to pursue college or career opportunities. Randy and Ruth were on the fence, saying they wouldn't return home right away but might go back later.
Q. What happened to the TV series "Alias"? Last May left us with a cliffhanger, now it has disappeared. Since it is not listed in the fall lineup, please let us know whether it is off the air for good, in contract negotiations, being revamped or what. -- K.D. Irving, Texas
A. "Alias" will return all right, but ABC is holding the fourth season premiere until midseason. In the meantime, there are plenty of spinoff products inspired by the popular spy thriller -- an "Alias" video game, magazine, books and DVD. You also can read about "Alias" star Jennifer Garner's hot romance with Ben Affleck in all the tabloids and watch "Alias" creator J.J. Abrams' newest ABC drama, "Lost," on Wednesday nights.
