Agreed to take out a $575,000 loan with local banks to pay for the new roofs installed during the summer on the middle school and high school.
Approved the superintendent's recommendations to hire a reading program coordinator and substitute secretary and award supplemental contracts to Mark Albani as seventh-grade boys basketball coach and Kurt Miller as eighth-grade boys basketball coach.
Approved William Rasey, a retired school band director, as a volunteer with the district's instrumental music program.
Announced that the Champion Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony/banquet will be Nov. 27. A social time will be from 1:30 to 2 p.m., dinner 2 to 3 p.m., and the induction ceremony from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
Approved a resolution supporting the 2.4-mill renewal levy for the Trumbull Career and Technical Center.
