First Niles reportsthird-quarter earnings
NILES -- First Niles Financial earned $289,000, or 22 cents a share, in the third quarter, compared with $261,000, or 20 cents a share, in the same quarter last year. It is the holding company for Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Niles.
Group names chairman
CLEVELAND -- Team Northeast Ohio, a regional economic development group, named Robert Heisler as chairman. He also is chairman and chief executive of KeyBank National Association. Les Vinney has been acting chairman and will remain on the board as vice chairman.
Also, Arthur Anton, president and chief executive of Swagelok Co., and Packy Hyland, co-founder of Hyland Software Inc., have been elected trustees. Team NEO covers 13 counties, including Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana.
Under new ownership
BOARDMAN -- Janet Carkido and Shari Dials have taken over ownership of Daniel Paul Salon, 716 Boardman-Canfield Road. They had worked under the previous owner. They recently celebrated a grand opening.
