SOLDIERS' THANKS

Mary Ann Lark, owner of Hair Design by Lark in Hubbard, has received cards, letters and e-mails of appreciation from soldiers who have received care packages she's sent them in the past year. Here is a sample of the correspondence:
"Thanks so much for doing this. It truly makes my heart glad that you and everyone else involved would think so much of our soldiers to do something like this. I am very touched. I hope you know that every package, no matter how big or small, is like gold to every soldier that receives one."
