Religious order celebrates
VILLA MARIA, Pa. -- The Sisters of the Humility of Mary will complete the celebration of their 150th anniversary with a liturgy and reception at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Magnificat Chapel at the complex in Villa Maria. The order has held receptions in Rocky River, Warren, Canton and Ashtabula since June to celebrate with all those who have been affected by one of the sisters' many services to hospitals, schools and churches.
Pianist at First Assembly
HUBBARD -- Recording artist Lorne Matthews will present "Keyboards for the King" at 6 p.m. Oct. 24 at the First Assembly of God, 5900 W. Liberty St. The program is a music ministry of inspirational, sacred, classical and southern gospel music using the latest digital keyboard equipment. Matthews, formerly a pianist for The Cathedrals and the McDuff Brothers, was recently inducted into the Piano Roll of Honor Hall of Fame. He has been in gospel music for 40 years. He and his wife, Jimmie Ruth, will present vocal and instrumental music. An offering will be taken.
Evangelists to appear

For more information call (330) 792-1221. The Rev. Mr. Hauser and the Rev. Mrs. Hauser are licensed evangelists through the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Hauser is president of Son Grace Music Ministries, has a master's degree in psychology and is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. He was a full-time pastor for 17 years. Mrs. Hauser is the administrator and facilitator of Son Grace Ministries. She has recorded 11 albums and has a weekly television show on TCI cable of Enid, Okla., "Inspirations with Filese Hauser."
Fall Revival at Triedstone
YOUNGSTOWN -- Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, 2045 Jacobs Road, will have a Fall Revival at 7 p.m. each evening from Oct. 20 through 22. The Rev. G.B. Lampkins, Pastor of Greater Promise Baptist Church, Ashtabula, will bring the message each night.
Gospel artist to perform
YOUNGSTOWN -- Gospel artist Ivan Parker will be in concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at Christ Church Presbyterian, 1933 Canfield Road. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are on sale at the church, Heaven on Earth Bookstore in Boardman, JMJ Spiritual Connection in Cornersburg and Minuteman Press in Youngstown. Parker has appeared on the "Bill and Gloria Gaither Homecoming" television show and has won several gospel music awards.
Women's Day program
YOUNGSTOWN -- Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 917 Shehy St., will feature a Women's Day program, "Women in White," at 4 p.m. Sunday. Nan Williams, president of the Women's Ministry, will be the guest speaker.
Pastors' anniversary
YOUNGSTOWN -- Ebenezer Church of God in Christ, 566 W. Indianola Ave., is celebrating the 13th Pastoral Anniversary honoring the Revs. Ernest and Lenora Walker. The special guest will be Apostle Al Jones of Revelation International Ministries, Norfolk, Va., at 11 a.m. Oct. 24. Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. nightly Oct. 24-29. The celebration will continue with Youth Explosion at 6 p.m. Oct. 30, and services at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Oct. 31.
Flame Fellowship speaker
YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown Chapter of Flame Fellowship International will have guest speaker the Rev. Cindy Antinossi of Sun and Shield Church, a ministry of Dayspring Harvest Ministries, at its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the Georgeanna Parker Activity Center in Boardman Township Park.
