Polish Arts Club installs officers

LIBERTY -- The Polish Arts Club of Youngstown held installation of officers for 2004-05 at a picnic Sept. 19 at Churchill Park.
Marie Rockney, outgoing president, conducted the installation ceremonies for Mary Ann Mlynarski, president; Marianne Poprik, vice president; Marge Lardis, secretary; and Stanley Gerchak, treasurer.
Mlynarski presented a group gift to Rockney in recognition of the 10 years she served as the club's president.
The group's next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Liberty Library. Delegates who attended the convention in California in August will give reports.
Anyone interested in joining the club should contact Alexandria Copich at (330) 759-2941. It is not necessary to be of Polish heritage to join.
