XCANFIELD -- Nuptial vows were exchanged during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony as Malissa Sue Lanterman and Jess Ian Stewart were united in marriage Sept. 18 at Emmanuel Community Church.
The Rev. David Verzilli presided at the wedding for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Lanterman Sr. of Diamond and the son of Jeff Stewart of Youngstown and Debbie Cardlin of Boardman.
The bride wore a strapless satin gown embellished with beading and featuring a corset back and chapel train.
Her honor attendant was Lisa Campbell, and bridesmaids were Cristel Berry, Carrie Mackey, Candice Woods, Erin Wood, Heidi Stewart and Jacie Christoff. They wore espresso-colored gowns. Flower girl was Hope Sudol.
Serving as best man was Donnie Ferko, and groomsmen were Ed Lanterman, Brad Payne, Joe Zurvitz, Mike Christoff, Matt Morgan, and Steve Antal. The usher was Rick Lanterman Jr., and ring bearer was Ricky Lanterman III.
After a reception at McMenamy's in Niles, the couple left on a wedding trip to South Carolina.
They live in Austintown.
The bride earned a degree at Trumbull Business College in Warren and a nursing diploma at the Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing in Salem. She is a nurse at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren.
The groom attended Youngstown State University and the International Masonry Institute in Youngstown. He is a bricklayer.
