XYOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown Baptist Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 11 as Lisa L. Poulakos and James D. Galich were joined in marriage by the Rev. Dave Watkins.
Parents of the bride are Lynda and David Day, 52 Walnut St., Struthers, and Richard and Susan Poulakos, 732 Nelbert Lane, Boardman. Mr. Galich is a son of Michael and June Galich, 109 Brookfield Ave., Boardman.
A reception was held St. Nicholas Hall in Struthers.
The couple honeymooned at Myrtle Beach, S.C. They live at 222 Brookfield Ave. Boardman.
The bride's satin gown featured a halter neckline and was enhanced with floral cutwork and pearl beading. It featured a similarly trimmed detachable cathedral train.
The groom's sister, Heather Cusick, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Maria Nadzam, Maureen Stenglein, Ashley Wylam and Cheryl Salser. They wore plum-colored gowns. Jerica Day was flower girl.
The groom's father performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Phillip Brenner; Ryan Cusick, the groom's brother-in-law; Scott Stenglein; and David Day and Jacob Politsky, the bride's step-brothers.
Mrs. Galich attended Youngstown College of Massotherapy and is a licensed massotherapist. She is employed as a receptionist with Advanced Urology in Boardman.
Her husband is a machinist at Foerster Systems in Salem.
