Beard inducted as leader of district Kiwanis

LIMA -- Randall Beard of Cortland was installed as lieutenant governor of Division 25 of the Ohio District of Kiwanis International at a ceremony held Sept. 18 at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center.
Beard will serve as leader of the eight clubs that comprise Trumbull County's District 25, including Champion, Cortland, Girard/Liberty, Hubbard, Newton Falls, Niles, Vienna and Warren.
A member of the Warren chapter, Beard has served it as president and secretary as well as on various committees. He has also been the recipient of several Kiwanis awards, including the George F. Hixson Fellowship, Distinguished Officer of Merit, New Club Development Award and Kiwanian of the Year.
Beard is owner-agent with Beard Insurance Agency Inc. in Howland.
