3 arrested in death of woman killed by object

TOLEDO (AP) -- Authorities arrested three men Friday on charges related to the death of a woman killed when she was struck with a piece of metal thrown off a railroad overpass.
Jamie Pacheco, 20, of Toledo, was charged with murder, said Toledo Police Sgt. Greg Smith. Smith said Pacheco was being held without bail in the Lucas County Jail.
Michael Manning, 21, and a 14-year-old male also were arrested and charged with vandalism. Police didn't release the teenager's name. Police were considering additional charges for the two, Smith said.
Dorothy Minggia, 42, of Toledo, died almost instantaneously when a 24-pound metal object crashed through the windshield of her car as she drove under a railroad trestle around 11 p.m. Thursday, Smith said.
Pacheco, Manning and the 14-year-old male were scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
