Trumbull County Planning Commission has issued preliminary results of a survey of residents. The totals don't add up to 100 percent because some residents didn't answer all the questions. The results:
Are you satisfied with park and recreation? yes, 81 percent; no, 15 percent.
Are you satisfied with fire service? yes, 94 percent; no, 3 percent.
Are you satisfied with police service? yes 88, percent; no, 8 percent.
Would you like to see the city and Hubbard Township police forces combined? yes, 60 percent; no, 26 percent.
Are you satisfied with existing road system? yes, 60 percent; no, 26 percent.
Are you in favor of the Hubbard Arterial Highway? yes, 58 percent; no, 17 percent.
Are you satisfied with the downtown? yes, 35 percent; no, 55 percent.
Do you like the way the city operates? yes, 64 percent; no, 17 percent.
Do you think we should move to combine the city and township? yes, 55 percent; no, 30 percent.
Do you think the city is preserving its historic resources properly? yes, 64 percent; no, 19 percent.
Are you satisfied with the quality of water? yes, 52 percent; no, 41 percent.
Are you satisfied with the city zoning regulations? yes, 62 percent; no, 22 percent.
