TELEVISION Q & amp;A

Q. I want to know why "Walker, Texas Ranger" was taken off USA Network. I watched that show three times a day every day except Saturday and Sunday. -- C.B., The Colony, Texas
A. The Hallmark Channel has acquired reruns of "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "JAG." You can catch Chuck Norris as Texas Ranger Cordell Walker three times a day (at 6 and 7 p.m. and at 1 a.m.), and Saturdays at 8 p.m.
Q. Why did they kill off "Speed" on "CSI: Miami"? -- P.C., Virginia Beach, Va.
A. Rory Cochrane, who played Tim "Speed" Speedle, reportedly asked to be written off the CBS show citing the grind of making a weekly series. The show's writers complied with his wishes, knocking him off in the show's third season premiere.
Q. My daughter has been watching the new Nick Jr. show "Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends." I can't help but think that the voice of Miss Spider sounds like Kristin Davis. Is it her? -- C.D., Erie, Pa.
A. That's the voice of the former "Sex and the City" actress, all right. Davis, who was Emmy-nominated for her role as Charlotte York in "Sex and the City's" final season, is now lending her vocal talents to the part of Miss Spider in the new preschoolers' series. The CGI animated show is based on the children's books by David Kirk.
