FOWLER -- The township historical society will have an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the David & amp; Mellissa Butts Museum in Fowler Center.
Anyone wishing to display a quilt at the museum open house may call Judy McDonald at (330) 638-6646 or Nancy Bell at (330) 637-1020.
Political film series
YOUNGSTOWN -- YSU College Democrats are sponsoring a Progressive Film Series that continues at 6 p.m. Tuesday with "Bush Family Fortunes -- The Best Democracy Money Can Buy" by award-winning BBC journalist Greg Palast. The film will be shown in Moser Hall Room 2000. Two more films -- "Uncovered -- The Whole Truth About the Iraq War" and "Outfoxed -- Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism," both by Robert Greenwald -- will be shown Oct. 26 at 6 and 8 p.m., respectively, in the same room. Admission is free.
