Howland beats Poland for 12th win

Jamie Kelly and Taylor Summerfield powered the Tigers' to the MAC victory.
POLAND -- Jaime Kelly had 15 points, 30 kills and seven digs to lead the Howland High volleyball team past Poland 17-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-19 in a Metro Athletic Conference match Monday.
Taylor Summerfield added 18 points, 11 kills and six assists for the Tigers (12-6, 6-4).
For Poland (12-8, 6-3), Dee Muransky had 12 kills, 15 digs and seven points, while Amanda Cramer had six kills, five points and two blocks.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Breonna Rivers had 23 points, six aces and three kills and Quiana Faison had 10 points, including two aces, and three kills for the Cowgirls (13-7, 7-1 City Series). Tiera Jones added four kills and four points.
Lordstown 21-25-24-25-15, Mooney 25-20-26-12-11
LORDSTOWN -- Alycia Israel broke the school record for assists with 53 as the Red Devils (17-1) won the marathon match.
Christa Israel added 22 kills and Amanda Kistler 26 digs for Lordstown.
Mineral Ridge 25-25-25, Mathews 15-15-15
MINERAL RIDGE -- Abbey Kiger had 11 points, including three aces, and three kills for the Rams (13-6). Jami Goodman added 16 points and Kaili Gehring had six assists.
Tara Ford had seven points and two blocks for the Mustangs (11-6), and Sophie Paddock added nine kills and two blocks.
LaBrae 25-25, Lowellville 17-16
LEAVITTSBURG -- Stephanie Higgins had 11 points, Maddie D'Orio had 10 kills and two aces and Lindsay Higgins had 17 assists for LaBrae, which played host to a triangular.
Karin Shackelford added three blocks and Lia Gordon had seven digs.
For Lowellville, Kaitlin McCarthy had five kills and five digs, Lyndsay Wilson had seven assists and Kathy Peterson had seven digs.

LEAVITTSBURG -- Stephanie Higgins had 15 points, Lindsay Higgins had 25 assists and two blocks and Maddie D'Orio had 11 kills and two blocks for the Vikings (12-8). Laura Bate added seven digs.
Suzy Warren had 20 points and Heidi Domhoff had 13 kills for Bloomfield (5-15).

JEFFERSON -- Michelle Antonelli had 45 assists, 19 points, 17 digs and seven aces to lead Lakeview (13-7).
Lindsay Whetzel added 18 kills and Kate Barnett had 21 digs.
Haley Kapferer had 15 kills, four blocks and two aces for Jefferson (15-5).
