Alexis Koning to be bride of Sean Novotny

XCANFIELD -- The engagement of Alexis Anne Koning and Sean Joseph Patrick Novotny is being announced by their parents, David and June Koning, 4238 Mellinger Road, and Raymond and Eileen Novotny, 311 Shadydale Drive.
The bride-elect graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in education. She is employed by Canfield Local Schools as an intervention teacher at Hilltop Elementary School.
Her fiance, the superintendent at Kennsington Golf Club, graduated from Ohio State University with an associate degree in turf green management and a bachelor's in agriculture.
The couple will be united in marriage during an open ceremony they have planned for 3:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at Canfield Presbyterian Church. They will extend invitations for their evening reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
