XALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Katherine Montgomery and Curtis Wadsworth, both of 5801 Eubank Blvd. N.E., exchanged marriage vows before the Rev. Lee Smith during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Sept. 4 at Montgomery Church of Christ, where a reception also took place.
The bride is a daughter of Mary Jane Montgomery, 4540 Park St., Hubbard, and the late William Micheal Montgomery. The groom is a son of Dean Wadsworth, 520 61st St. S.W., and Linda Gonzales, 608 Broken Arrow, Roswell, N.M.
The bride wore a strapless, princess-style gown adorned with beads.
Her sister, Amy Guoan, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Suzanne Stringham, the groom's sister, and Kirstin Welch and Abigail Ellsworth. They wore sage-colored dresses.
Best man was Nathan Longbotham. Groomsman was Christopher Montgomery, the bride's brother, and ushers were Lee Stringham and Christopher Stringham, the groom's brothers-in-law, and Charles Peterson and Will Brewer. Ring bearer was Brandon Stringham, the groom's nephew.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
The bride graduated from Ohio Northern University, Ada, with a bachelor's degree in biology and from Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, Pa., with a doctorate in physical therapy. She is a physical therapist at NoraCare. The groom earned a bachelor's degree in youth and family ministry at Abilene Christian University, Abilene, Texas. He is a firefighter at Kirkland Air Force Base.
