James excited about becoming father

COLUMBUS (AP) -- Nothing personal, but LeBron James isn't ready for any baby talk just yet.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star declined to say much Friday night about the baby boy born to him and his longtime girlfriend two days earlier.
"It's a great experience," the 19-year-old said of the birth. "I'm real excited."
When a reporter asked the baby's name, James joked that he named his son after the sports writer. Asked again about the name, James swatted aside the question once more.
"I don't want to get into my personal life, man. I'm just worrying about basketball right now," James said after scoring nine points in a 40-minute intrasquad scrimmage. "You all will see him at a game coming up. You can ask him what his name is. He might not be able to tell you, but you can ask him. We'll wait until that happens."
James did say everything was fine and that the baby was at home.
"This is a happy time for me," he said, adding, "My mind is focused on basketball any time I get on the court."
James was speaking publicly for the first time since Wednesday's birth. He missed three practices this week while he was in his hometown of Akron with the baby and mother, a 19-year-old Akron woman.
Asked if the baby looked like him, James smiled and said, "He looks like the milkman -- I'm starting to wonder."
