Genettas mark golden jubilee on trip to Tennessee

XNORTH JACKSON -- Mr. and Mrs. Leo Genetta of North Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a picnic Aug. 28 at their family homestead, Catalpa Lane Farm, where the family still runs the farm.
They also marked the occasion Sept. 27 at a dinner at the Fifth Season Restaurant and last November with a trip to Nashville, Tenn., with their daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Shawn Goodman, also of North Jackson.
Mr. Genetta and the former Elizabeth Boyer were married Sept. 27, 1954, in Everett, Wash., where he was stationed at Paine Air Force Base. He worked at Bliss Manufacturing Co. in Austintown for 25 years and later at Austintown Tool & amp; Die, retiring in 1994.
His wife has been employed at the Farmer's National Bank in Canfield since 1955. She is a member of First United Methodist Church in West Austintown.
