INFORMATION ABOUT FERRETS
There are about 8 million domestic ferrets in the United States.
Male ferrets can be two to three times larger than females.
Similar to a group of wolves being called a pack, a group of ferrets is called a business.
Litters can be from one kit to sixteen.
A female ferret is called a jill; a male is called a hob.
The ferret has been domesticated about 500 years longer than the house cat.
The American Ferret Association is the largest national ferret organization.
