LIBERTY
Sept. 28
Domestic violence: After responding to a hang-up 911 call from a residence in the 1100 block of Tibbets-Wick Road, police arrested a woman, 34, on a domestic-violence charge. Officers say that she made threats toward her brother and mother during an argument.
Arrest: Police arrested a man, 47, at his residence in the 4700 block of Vienna Avenue on a felony warrant from Austintown charging him with theft.
Sept. 29
Breaking and entering: A man in his early 20s entered a residence in the 1000 block of Shannon Road, likely through an unlocked second-floor bathroom window, and removed a gas pressure washer, a push mower, a circular saw, a nailer device, two drills and several other tools from the home. The loss came to more than $4,000.
Theft: An employee at Shell True North gas station, 3990 Belmont Ave., reported a boy, age 12 to 14, took an undetermined number of items from the store before fleeing.
Recovered property: Police recovered in a field 14 pairs of blue jeans valued at $378. The merchandise had been stolen from Fashion Bug, 3551 Belmont Ave., after someone broke into the store.
Arrests: After saying they saw several people fleeing Church Hill Park on Church Hill Road, police arrested two Girard men and a Youngstown man, all 21, and a Pittsburgh man, 22. All four were charged with criminal trespass after being accused of trespassing on township property.
Sept. 30
Theft/criminal damaging: A man in the 3000 block of Frederick Street reported that his vehicle's vent window had been broken and $200 worth of fishing equipment and a $279 stereo system had been removed.
Oct. 1
Vehicle theft: A man reported his 1999 Honda all-terrain vehicle stolen from his front yard in the 900 block of Church Hill Road.
Theft: An employee at a BP gas station, 2703 Belmont Ave., reported a woman took $111 worth of various merchandise.
Oct. 2
Robbery: A man told police a woman in her 30s and two men, one in his late 20s and the other in his 30s, came to his residence in the 10 block of Trumbull Court and pushed the victim against his kitchen sink while demanding money. The victim also reported that he owed the woman $150, but that he gave the suspects an additional $300.
Oct. 3
Arrest: After responding to a report of a suspicious person in the 200 block of Colonial Drive, police arrested a 49-year-old Youngstown man on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. A woman told police that she returned to her home in the area and discovered the suspect inside her residence and that he refused to leave.
Breaking and entering: An employee at 3R Supply, 3030 Belmont Ave., reported someone broke in through a first-floor rear window and took three scooters. The loss was about $950.
Felonious assault: Police arrested a 22-year-old Warren man on a charge of felonious assault after a man in the 1700 block of Naylor-Lloyd Road alleged his stepson tried to point a gun at him and threatened him during an argument at the home. The suspect also faced a felony charge of receiving stolen property after officers determined the firearm had been stolen from another state.
Oct. 4
Theft: An Austintown man discovered his wallet had been removed from his jacket while he was at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex, 1620 Motor Inn Drive.
Criminal damaging: A Youngstown woman left the Liberty Plaza, 3551 Belmont Ave., and noticed someone had used a key to damage the finish on both sides of her vehicle.
Theft: Police arrested a 35-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after a 26-piece haircut kit valued at $29 was stolen from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2704 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A Hubbard woman noticed a validation sticker had been removed from her car while she was at the Youngstown Country Club, 1402 Country Club Drive.
GIRARD
Oct. 3
Theft: A man in the 40 block of Hancock Street told police someone rolled down his vehicle's passenger-side window and entered the car. A radar detector, about 13 compact discs, loose change, a purse and a prescription medication were stolen.
Oct. 4
Theft: An employee at Commercial Truck & amp; Trailer Inc., 211 W. Broadway Ave., discovered a large amount of scrap, including a truck wheel and a drum assembly, had been removed from a bin.
Theft: A woman discovered her cellular phone stolen from her vehicle near her residence in the 1000 block of Gary Avenue.
Attempted burglary: A woman called police after discovering someone had tampered with a window at her apartment in the 300 block of Elruth Court. She also noticed a screen was bent and had been pushed in.
Criminal damaging: A man reported his car window broken at his residence in the 200 block of South Davis Street.
Theft: A woman in the 200 block of East Broadway Avenue said that a friend removed about 20 checks from her car and that some had been cashed at Santisi's IGA Super Center, 419 N. State St., and Wal-Mart in Austintown.
HUBBARD
Sept. 28
Theft: A woman discovered three flowerpots stolen from her residence in the 1000 block of Doris Drive.
Theft: A boy in the 100 block of West Liberty Street reported his bicycle stolen while he was at the Hubbard Public Library, 436 W. Liberty St.
Arrest: Police arrested a male student, no age given, at Hubbard High School, 350 Hall Ave., on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon.
Sept. 29
Assault: A man in the 300 block of Lauretta Lane reported his daughter was assaulted while she rode a school bus.
Sept. 30
Criminal damaging: An employee at a Shell gas station, 204 W. Liberty St., told police someone drove a Jeep Cherokee away from a gas pump with the nozzle still inserted into the vehicle, tearing the hose from the pump.
Theft: A Hubbard woman discovered that someone had removed a prescription medication from her purse as she worked at St. Patrick's School, 38 E. Water St.
Oct. 1
Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Belle Vista Drive discovered a diamond ring missing from her residence.
Property damage: A man called police after someone had used a vehicle to drive over a portion of his lawn in the 20 block of Viola Avenue.
Oct. 2
Auto theft: A man in the 7500 block of John White Road reported his 2002 Jeep Wrangler had been taken from a residence in the 50 block of Henry Street.
