COLUMBUS -- Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dajuan Wagner left training camp on Wednesday to attend to a personal issue, the team said.
Wagner returned to his home in Camden, N.J., but the team did not give a reason for his departure. The Cavaliers don't know when Wagner will be back for practices this week at Capital University.
The club will be there until Saturday before playing a scrimmage on Sunday in Akron.
Philadelphia television station KYW reported Wednesday night that Wagner's sister was injured Tuesday when she fell out of a school bus.
The station reported she was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. A nursing supervisor there told The Associated Press that the girl's parents requested no information be released about her condition.
Critical condition
The Courier-Post of Cherry Hill reported for today's newspapers that a 17-year-old Camden girl remained in critical, but stable, condition Wednesday with a fractured skull suffered when she fell from a rear emergency door of a school bus.
Police said the bus was taking students home from the Pennsauken Campus of Camden Vocational and Technical High School when some students started throwing items around the vehicle.
The driver radioed that he was having trouble and was told to return to the school, police said. As he did, several students opened the rear door of the bus and the girl fell, Lt. Michael Lynch told the newspaper.
James becomes a dad
CLEVELAND -- LeBron James and his longtime girlfriend, a 19-year-old Akron woman, had a baby boy Wednesday. No other details were available.
James left the team's training camp in Columbus to be with her and his new son. He was expected to rejoin the team today.
