CANFIELD
Sept. 28
Theft: Construction equipment was stolen from a building site for a new residence in the 60 block of Saybrook Drive. Six boxes of PVC aluminum trim coils, valued at $66 each, were taken.
Weapon on school property: A 17-year-old North Lima male from the South Range Schools district was accused of having two sharpened Samurai swords in his vehicle at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 North Palmyra Road. Canfield policecharged him with conveyance of a deadly weapon on school property, and they planned to turn the matter over to Mahoning County Juvenile Justice Center. He was released from the school to his mother.
Drug paraphernalia: A traffic stop for a loud muffler led to charges against a 41-year-old Boardman man, a passenger who is accused of possession of drug paraphernalia; drug abuse; and obtaining, possessing and concealing after police found a hemostat, rolling paper and 13 grams of marijuana leaves. A 20-year-old Panama City, Fla., man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse, obtaining and possessing and taken to Mahoning County jail to be held without bond for extradition to Florida for a probation violation.

Sept. 27
Theft: Beer was taken from True North, 3676 S. Meridian Road.
Sex offense: A man exposed himself inside True North, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Keys were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of North Kimberly Avenue.
Barking Dog: A woman was cited for her dog's barking in the 4000 block of Washington Square apartments.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen from Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Criminal damaging: A woman is accused of breaking a window at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.
Criminal damaging: Five double-pane windows were shot with a BB gun at the construction site of Taco Bell, 850 North Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft from auto: A JVC AM-FM compact disc in-dash player and $15 in coins were stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of DeHoff Drive.
Criminal damaging: A window was broken on a John Deere tractor in the 3600 block of Wendover Circle.
Criminal damaging: BB pellets were shot at a house and garage in the 100 block of Rosemont Avenue.
Theft: Cash and an inoperable 1995 Beretta were stolen from the 2000 block of DeHoff Drive.

Theft from auto: Three YBC Parking Only signs were stolen from the Youngstown Boxing Club, 4162 Mahoning Avenue.
Sept. 30
Theft: A Bobcat skid loader was stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Drug offense: A male and female were placed in Mahoning County jail after an arrest on North Kimberly Avenue. The man, from Hermitage, was charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia, and the female, of Youngstown, was charged with drug abuse of cocaine and possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.
Theft: A cardboard sign was stolen from the 30 block of South Wickliffe Circle.
Theft: A 30-pack of beer was stolen from Shell/True North, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
Oct. 1
Theft from auto: $150 in cash was stolen from a vehicle at True 2 Form, 5461 Mahoning Ave.
Theft of vehicle: A white 1990 Pontiac Transport Van was stolen from the 400 block of Pembrook Road.
Criminal damaging: A window was shattered on a vehicle at Mahoning Avenue and state Route 11.
Criminal damaging: Tires were cut on a vehicle in the parking lot in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.
Auto theft: A 1988 Chevrolet was stolen from the 4000 block of New Road.
Criminal damaging: A tree was cut down at Bank One, 4243 Mahoning Ave.
Receiving stolen property: A woman was arrested on a charge of receiving stolen property at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Oct. 2
Theft: A man was charged with theft at Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave., and placed in county jail.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A concrete driveway was damaged in the 100 block of Edgewater Drive.
Burglary: A diamond engagement ring was stolen from the 1000 block of Moorefield Avenue.
Drug arrest: A man was charged with possession of marijuana in the 5300 block of Seventy-six Drive.
Oct. 3
Drug offense: A man was issued a summons for arrest on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana at New and Raccoon roads.
Criminal damaging: Garage doors were damaged in the 300 block of Burkey Road.
Drug offense: A woman was arrested on a felony drug charge, possession of heroin, at state Route 46 and the 5300 block of Seventy-Six Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched and a headlight cover stolen in the 3000 block of Forty Second Street.
Burglary: Movies were stolen from an apartment in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.
Criminal damaging: A windshield of a vehicle was damaged at St. Anne Church, 4310 Kirk Road.
Burglary: An attached garage was broken into in the 100 block of Westminster Avenue.
