ICL/TCL Western Reserve defeats Harding, J-M; Ridge win
First-place Springfield defeated Lowellville; Crestview remains unbeaten.
BERLIN CENTER -- The Western Reserve High volleyball team swept a home doubleheader from Warren Harding and Jackson-Milton on Tuesday.
Western Reserve defeated Harding, 25-14, 25-14, 25-7, and the Blue Devils beat Jackson-Milton in an Inter-County League match, 25-18, 25-17, 25-21.
Against Harding (5-11), the Blue Devils were led by Stephanie Gasper with 13 points, two aces and three digs and Rachael Hernan with 12 points, eight kills and four digs.
LaBrea Crawford had five kills and five blocks for the Raiders, and Krystyn Flanagan had 11 points, 20 assists and two blocks.
Against Jackson-Milton (6-10, 2-5), Sylvia Tofilski had 14 points, 10 kills and three blocks for the Blue Devils (13-6, 5-2), while Leta Lenhart added 20 points, two aces and eight digs.
For the Bluejays, Rachel Karash had six points, nine kills, 10 digs and nine assists while Megan Whitmer had six points and an ace.
Springfield 25-25-25, Lowellville 16-12-17
LOWELLVILLE -- Christy Warren had 10 points, seven aces and nine kills for the Tigers (15-5, 7-1 ICL), while Lindsay Johnson added eight points, two aces, 12 kills and seven blocks.
Lowellville was led by Kathy Peterson with seven kills and Lindsay Wilson with 15 assists.
Mineral Ridge 19-25-17-25-16, South Range 25-20-25-21-14
MINERAL RIDGE -- Alex Ladd had 11 points and five aces, Kaili Gehring had eight points and 14 assists, and Rachael Siler had seven kills and five blocks for the Rams (12-5, 4-3 ICL).
Pam Miller had 11 points and Annie Semko had seven kills and 12 blocks for South Range (4-13, 3-4).
Crestview 25-25-25, Southern 14-6-10
COLUMBIANA -- Tricia Richards had 12 kills, two blocks and nine points, while Kristen Harroff added nine kills for Crestview (18-0, 11-0) in a Tri-County League match.
Elyse Mongillo added 32 assists and four points.
Stacie Skeens had five kills and three blocks for Southern.
East Palestine 25-25-21-21-15, Columbiana 22-20-25-25-10
EAST PALESTINE -- Amanda Mesmer had 23 points, 16 kills and six blocks and Emilee Givens had 19 points and 10 blocks for East Palestine (8-8, 6-5) in a TCL match.
For Columbiana (11-5, 8-3), Kylee Crittenden had 19 kills, four blocks and seven points and Cara Hardenbrook had 14 kills, six blocks and 13 digs.

SEBRING -- Chelsea Fennis had 13 points and 17 assists, and Ashley Webb had 12 points, five aces, seven kills and two blocks for the Eagles (12-6).
Sebring (5-10, 3-8 TCL) was led by Kayla Faudree with eight points, three aces, eight kills, one block and two digs, and Briana Jones with eight points, one ace, six assists and three digs.
