Officer injured while breaking up scuffle involving 6 women
FARRELL, Pa. -- Police said an officer was injured trying to break up a fight in which six women were arrested.
The fight took place at Twin City Elks, 321 Staunton St., as the bar was closing around 2:40 a.m. Saturday, police said.
Police said the officer, who wasn't identified, suffered a cut to his left ear after being struck while trying to break up the fight. The injury required five stitches.
Those arrested and the charges against them are:
UShanetti McGraw, 22, of Kendis Circle, Youngstown, disorderly conduct, failure to disperse and public drunkenness.
UKendra B. Mosley, 18, of Plaza View, Youngstown, disorderly conduct and harassment.
UCierra M. Moreland, 22, of Parke Drive, Hermitage, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and criminal mischief.
UEbony L. Davis, 21, of Market Street, Farrell, aggravated assault for striking the officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct,
URhoshunda D. Dunbar, Lee Avenue, Farrell, disorderly conduct.
U Tanesha Anderson, Plaza View, Youngstown, disorderly conduct.
Police said McGraw, Mosley and Anderson were held in Mercer County jail on bond. Davis posted $10,000 bond and was released. Moreland and Dunbar were given citations and released.
