Actress Katey Sagalmarries for third time
LOS ANGELES -- Katey Sagal, television's symbol of the crass housewife in her role as Peg Bundy on "Married ... With Children," has married again.
Sagal, 47, married Kurt Sutter, 42, in a private ceremony Saturday at their suburban Los Feliz home, publicist Lisa Kasteler said Monday.
The bride wore a Reem Acra wedding gown and the groom wore a Prada suit, Kasteler said.
It was the third marriage for Sagal, who has a daughter and son from her 1993 marriage to Jack White.
Sutter is a writer for "The Shield."
Cast members from Sagal's ABC sitcom "Eight Simple Rules," including Kaley Cuoco and Amy Davidson, and Ed O'Neill, who played her "Married ... With Children" husband, Al Bundy, attended the reception.
"It was lovely," Kasteler said.
Sagal received four Golden Globe nominations for her role as Peg Bundy on "Married ... With Children," which ran from 1987 to 1997.
Elton John blastsMadonna for performance
LONDON -- It seems Elton John is not a Madonna fan.
Taking the stage at a music awards show Monday, John accused the queen of pop of lip-syncing and said he was astonished she had been nominated for best live act, reports ABC News.
"Since when has lip-syncing been live?" John said. "Anyone who lip-syncs in public onstage when you pay 75 pounds ($134) to see them should be shot.
"That's me off her ... Christmas card list," he added. "But do I give a toss? No."
Madonna's spokesman Liz Rosenberg refuted John's allegations.
"Madonna does not lip-sync nor does she spend her time trashing other artists," Rosenberg said in a statement. "She sang every note of her Re-Invention tour live and is not ashamed that she was well paid for her hard work."
John, 57, was receiving a songwriting award at the Q awards, sponsored by a British music magazine.
Madonna, whose world tour stopped in Britain in August, did not win the best live act award. It went to the British band Muse.
John has never been afraid to speak his mind. Last month he made headlines in Taiwan by telling photographers they were a bunch of "rude, vile pigs."
Eminem buys housein Hollywood, sources say
LOS ANGELES -- Having vowed never to ditch his Detroit roots for Hollywood, Eminem appears to have done just that.
The rapper has shelled out $5.3 million for an amazing new house on the hills, reports Ananova.com.
Sources said the Real Slim Shady has made the move to concentrate on a film career, given a huge boost by his appearance in "8 Mile."
Eminem's new pad is decked in marble flooring, kitted out with top spec music and TV gear and home to the latest fashions in furniture. It also has huge patios with stunning views over the Hollywood landscape.
An insider said: "He will never lose touch with Detroit, but Eminem felt it was time to move to Hollywood. He's always staying there for work and has loads of friends in the area."
Eminem's new neighbors include Ice-T, Halle Berry, Ben Affleck, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.
