Fitch beats Poland and Girard



AUSTINTOWN -- Jessica Evans scored 11 points, with six blocks and four kills, as the Fitch High volleyball team defeated Poland 25-21, 25-22 Saturday.
Rachel Ducay had 10 points, 11 blocks and two kills. Meghan McDermott had nine points, five blocks and six kills.

AUSTINTOWN -- The Falcons' (10-7) Evans had 19 points, six kills, six blocks and three assists.
Karla Farina added nine points, four blocks, three kills and three assists.
Caitlin O'Patchen had seven points, 15 assists and two aces.
Chelsea Morrison led the Indians with 12 kills, two blocks and four points.
Erin Stevens had 16 assists and 10 digs.
Girard 25-23-15, Poland 16-25-11
AUSTINTOWN -- Elise Roscoe scored eight points, with two aces, 12 kills and 10 digs, for the Indians (14-3). Stevens had 24 assists and 10 digs.

LORDSTOWN -- Emily Rech scored seven points for the Red Devils. Christa Israel had five digs and Samantha Kistler four blocks.

LORDSTOWN -- Amanda Kistler had seven kills and six digs for the Red Devils (14-1). Alycia Israel had 18 assists.
