Family dinner held to honor Bosela jubilee

XLOWELLVILLE -- Mr. and Mrs. John P. Bosela Sr., 240 Bedford Road, were guests of honor Oct. 2 during a family dinner.
Hosts for the celebration were the honorees' children and their spouses, John P. Jr. and Minnie Bosela of New Castle, Pa.; Dr. Theodore and Christine Bosela and Edward Bosela, all of Struthers; and Cynthia and Major Michael Ries of New Albany, Ind.
The former Mildred Cheplick and Mr. Bosela exchanged marriage vows Oct. 2, 1954, at Sacred Heart Church in Sharon, Pa.
Mr. Bosela retired in 1990 and was president of Bosela Construction. He is a member of Disabled American Veterans and St. John Men's Club. Mr. Bosela served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater.
Mr. and Mrs. Bosela are members of St. John the Baptist Church in Campbell.
The family circle includes five grandchildren.
