The robbery of a pizza delivery woman is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
CRIME: Robbery.
LOCATION: Sharon.
DETAILS: Police said a delivery woman for Four Star Pizza was robbed at gunpoint as she attempted to deliver two pizzas to a residence in the 200 block of Mesabi Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday. The delivery address turned out to be vacant. The victim said she was confronted by a black man wearing a dark, hooded sweat shirt as she got out of her car. The man, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, pulled out a handgun and forced her to go behind an apartment complex building where two other black men waited, the victim said. One of the men was about 5 feet 2 inches tall, but the victim couldn't give any description of the third man. The men took her pizzas and an undisclosed amount of cash from her pocket.
