ASSOCIATIONS
XAlliance Area Retired Teachers Association will hold a luncheon at noon Oct. 15 followed by a meeting at the Tall Oaks, 230 S. 12th St., Sebring. XLadies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Triangle Post 2799, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at the post.
XSt. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet at noon Oct. 11 in the guest dining room. The speaker will be Cathy Rock, compliance manager of Retinal Eye Care Association, who will speak on eye conditions. New members are welcome.

XChristian Women's Club South will meet for lunch from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 14 at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman. XYoungstown Women's Connection will hold an "Annual Country Fair" luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 12 at the Italian-American Veterans Centre in Youngstown. Judy Barlow will be guest speaker, and music will be provided by Barb Gatrell. There also will be a live auction by Marty Campana. XCatholic Single Adults Club of Youngstown will meet at 4 p.m. Oct. 9 for dinner at Avalon Gardens on Belmont Avenue followed by a Youngstown State University football game at 6 p.m. (cost $11) and fireworks. XGammi Pi Sorority will host a joint chapter dinner Oct. 19 at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown, where the 75th anniversary of Delta Kappa Gamma will be celebrated. Registration at 5 p.m. will be followed by dinner at 6. There will be door prizes and entertainment. Reservations are are due by Tuesday.
