Bucks County, Pa., offers autumn attractions



BENSALEM, Pa. (AP) -- Beautiful foliage, harvest festivals, haunted hayrides, vineyards, hiking and biking -- all this and more awaits autumn visitors to Bucks County, Pa. As an added incentive to attract travelers this year, the Bucks County Conference & amp; Visitors Bureau is coordinating an offer to provide a free night's stay at local hotels and B & amp;Bs until Dec. 15.
Book a one-night stay in a participating hotel and get a second night free, or stay two nights in a participating B & amp;B or country inn and get a third night free.

Your visit to the area might include a performance at Quakertown's Main Street Theatre, a hike through Ringing Rocks Park, or a look at the annual Scarecrow Competition and Display, on view through Oct. 31 at Peddler's Village. A little later in the season, the Pearl S. Buck House & amp; Historic Site will be decorated for the Christmas holidays between Nov. 10 and Dec. 31.
