MIAMI -- Dwyane Wade had 25 points, Shaquille O'Neal added 21 and tied a team record by making all nine of his shot attempts for Miami. Paul Pierce missed one of two free throws with five seconds remaining that would have tied it for Boston, which lost its fourth straight. O'Neal finished with 13 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season. Wade had nine assists and Damon Jones had eight of his 16 points in the fourth quarter for Miami. Raef LaFrentz scored a season-high 21 points for Boston.
Trail Blazers 83, Nets 71
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Zach Randolph had 23 points and 15 rebounds, and the Trail Blazers sent the Nets to their ninth straight loss. Derek Anderson scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half for the Blazers. Richard Jefferson had 20 points and seven rebounds for the Nets. The losing streak is New Jersey's longest since the Nets lost nine in a row from Nov. 22-Dec. 6, 2000.
Clippers 103, Warriors 91
LOS ANGELES -- Elton Brand scored six of his 25 points in the final four minutes and finished with 13 rebounds, leading the Clippers. Bobby Simmons had 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Marko Jaric added 16 points and 11 assists as the Clippers got double-figure scoring from all five starters. Golden State forward Mike Dunleavy scored 20 for the Warriors.
Timberwolves 121, Kings 110
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Kevin Garnett and Sam Cassell combined for 11 straight points after the game clock malfunctioned. Garnett finished with 28 and Cassell had 25 as the Timberwolves snapped the Kings' seven-game winning streak. Chris Webber led the Kings with 25 points, while Peja Stojakovic and Mike Bibby added 22 apiece.
SuperSonics 103, Pacers 95
SEATTLE -- Rashard Lewis scored 22 points and Ray Allen had 19 points and a season-high nine assists. Vladimir Radmanovic and Antonio Daniels each added 14 points for the Western Conference-leading Sonics, who won their fourth straight in improving their NBA-best record to 13-2. Seattle also remained undefeated at home. James Jones scored a career-high 27 points for the Eastern Conference-leading Pacers (10-4). Indiana, depleted by injuries and suspensions, had its three-game winning streak stopped.
Wizards 114, Raptors 109, OT
TORONTO -- Larry Hughes had a season-high 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for his first career triple-double, leading Washington. Hughes scored 21 points in the fourth quarter for the Wizards, who rallied from a 10-point deficit in the final 6:29 of regulation. His two free throws with 0.8 seconds left sent the game into overtime. Gilbert Arenas added 27 points and Brendan Haywood had a season-high 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Wizards, who have won four of five. They've also won five straight against Toronto. Washington was without coach Eddie Jordan, who was hospitalized with a blood clot in his left leg and is expected to return for their next game. Assistant Mike O'Koren is coaching the Wizards in his absence. Jalen Rose had 29 points for the Raptors, who have lost eight of 10.
Lakers 89, Hornets 76
LOS ANGELES -- Kobe Bryant had 20 points, six rebounds and seven assists, and Los Angeles struggled against injury-depleted New Orleans. Chucky Atkins added 17 points -- all in the second half -- as the Lakers (8-6) won for the fifth time in seven games. Lamar Odom had 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Caron Butler and Brian Cook scored 10 each for Los Angeles. Darrell Armstrong had 21 points and five assists for the Hornets, whose 1-11 record is the NBA's worst. David West equaled his career high with 15 points, Junior Harrington scored a season-high 14 and P.J. Brown added 12 points and 11 rebounds for New Orleans.
