Angels' event serves as fund-raiser

Table reservations for the annual brunch will be available until Dec. 9
BOARDMAN -- Angels of Easter Seals has planned its annual Holiday Brunch and Sweet Shoppe for Dec. 15 at Antone's Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St.
A 10:30 a.m. social hour will precede the 11:30 brunch, which will feature entrees from the Angels' cookbooks, "Angels & amp; Friends" Volumes I and II and "Party Favorites." Also made from recipes in the books will be over 30 varieties of homemade cookies, pastries and bread to be sold.
The cookbooks and baskets with cookbooks will be available for purchase as well, and a Chinese auction and informal modeling of women's fashions are also planned.
Tickets are $18.50 each, and table reservations are available until Dec. 9. To obtain tickets or to purchase a cookbook, call the Easter Seal Center at (330) 743-1168 or contact any member.
Proceeds will benefit the disabled children and adults served by the Easter Seal Center of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
Chairwomen Mary Celeste VanSickle and Marianne Varley are being assisted by the membership.
