Women shouldn't hold back to impress Mr. Right, study says

KNIGHT RIDDER NEWSPAPERS
You're a single woman at a party trying to impress the man of your dreams standing across the room. Here come the hors d'oeuvres. You're famished. But you take only a cracker. You think you'll make a better impression on Mr. Right if you appear to be a light eater.
Wrong.
A recent edition of Allure magazine reported on a study at the University of Toronto that indicates men tend to favor a woman with a good appetite as long as she is not overweight.
Researchers prepared descriptions of hypothetical people that mentioned body size and two recent meals they had. The women judges thought light eaters would be better friends. The men chose healthy weight women who ate the hearty meals. The psychologists theorized that men appreciate such women because they express their desires and "don't induce guilt about men's own zest for food."
