BOARD OF CONTROL Action taken

The Youngstown Board of Control also acted on these matters Wednesday:
Approved the purchase of a new backhoe from Akron Tractor & amp; Equipment, Inc. through the state contract in the amount of $47,377.
Entered into an agreement with AGT International to receive work order tickets. The cost of this service is not to exceed $2,500.
Made a payment to Youngstown Service Shop in the amount of $18,000 for the repair and painting of high-voltage transformers and power factor correction equipment at the waste treatment plant.
Made payment to U.S. Filter/Wallace Tiernan/Biss-Nuss Inc. in for $7,950 for the purchase of a replacement residual controller.
Approved the bid submitted by A. White Contractor for the rehab of 824 Lyden Ave., owned by James & amp; Mary Crum in the amount of up to $35,000.
Approved the bid submitted by ABR Construction for the rehab of 814 E. Lucius Ave., owned by James & amp; Lori Lumsden in the amount of up to $35,000.
Approved the bid submitted by S & amp;L Construction for the rehab of 432 W. Boston Ave., owned by Nerissa Moses in the amount of up to $35,000.
Approved the bid submitted by S & amp;L Construction for the rehab of 929 Emmett St., owned by Doris Hunt in the amount of up to $35,000.
