COMMUNICATIONS Alltel opens a new store in Boardman

BOARDMAN -- Alltel has opened a new retail store at 476 Boardman-Canfield Road with additional office space that will serve as an area headquarters with nearly 400 employees.
The retail store features six selling stations, a customer service counter and a center display area for Alltel's array of voice and data products. It replaces its retail location at 7200 Market St.
Alltel is relocating the employees to the new facility from the Market Street location and another in Canfield. In addition to the retail store, the new facility will house Alltel's sales action group, financial services call center and administrative offices. The move will be complete by mid-December.
Alltel also has a retail store in the Wal-Mart Plaza on Doral Drive.
Both locations offer a wide variety of wireless and data plans with local and national coverage along with the latest high-tech wireless phones.
