GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Senior Christine Bare and junior Ellen Magee both earned a pair of wins Friday night, helping the Grove City College women's swimming and diving team earn a 141-80 win over Frostburg State at the Grove City College Pool.
Bare won the 200 free in 2:06.24 and added a win in the 500 free with a mark of 5:33.09. Meanwhile, Magee won the 50 free in 26.00 second and picked up a victory in the 100 free (55.98). Senior Emily Bolek won the 100 backstroke in 1:09.88 while senior Jacquie Adlam took the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.72.
Sophomore diver Emily Hays swept the diving events. She won the 1-meter competition with 182.10 points and took the 3-meter event with 196.95 points. It is the first victory for head coach John Richards.
Grove City (1-1) will host the James Longnecker Invitational Dec. 3-4 at College Pool.
