LOS ANGELES -- Even TV mobsters have a soft spot for U.S. troops serving abroad. James Gandolfini and Tony Sirico of HBO's "The Sopranos" are on a USO-Armed Forces Entertainment tour in the Persian Gulf, the USO said Wednesday. Gandolfini, who stars as mob boss Tony Soprano, and Sirico, who plays Paulie Walnuts, are signing autographs, posing for pictures and watching movies with the troops, the organization said. The trip is part of the USO-AFE tradition of bringing celebrities to the "front lines" of combat activities, the USO said. Among those who have participated this year are Wayne Newton, 50 Cent, Toby Keith, Tom Green and Rob Schneider.

NEW YORK -- Liza Minnelli says her former bodyguard, who claims she forced him to have sex with her to keep his job, and her estranged husband David Gest have joined forces to attack and embarrass her publicly, according to court papers. A complaint filed Nov. 9 also says M'Hammed Soumayah, 56, breached a confidentiality agreement by giving Gest personal information about Minnelli, 58.
The complaint, posted on the Celebrity Justice Web site, said Soumayah and Gest, both of whom also say Minnelli beat them, have been in contact since May or June, in person and by telephone.
The papers note that soon after Soumayah filed his $100 million lawsuit against Minnelli, Gest issued a press release supporting the bodyguard's charges, saying he witnessed Minnelli's assaults on Soumayah and promising to testify for him if asked. Gest, 52, has filed his own $10 million lawsuit against Minnelli, saying that during the 15 months they lived together after they were married in March 2002 she repeatedly beat him so badly that he suffered nerve damage.

Supernatural good looks, supersize talent -- and so nice, he might just kiss you if you have the nerve to ask," People says in its latest issue. Besides "Alfie" and "I u Huckabees," Law has starred this year in "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" and the upcoming "Closer," "The Aviator" and "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events." Naomi Watts, who starred with Law in "I u Huckabees," describes the 31-year-old actor as "the most beautiful man who ever walked the Earth."
Law, divorced from Sadie Frost and now dating his "Alfie" co-star Sienna Miller, told The Associated Press recently that despite his sex symbol status, he's no Lothario.
People also picked nine "off the charts" sexy superstars: Orlando Bloom, Jake Gyllenhaal, Usher, Colin Farrell, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Bruce Willis and Johnny Depp.
Us Weekly named Jesse Metcalfe, who plays Eva Longoria's on-screen gardener on "Desperate Housewives," as the sexiest man on television. The magazine's list of TV's 10 Hottest Men also includes Shane West of "ER," Josh Duhamel of "Las Vegas" and Matthew Fox of "Lost."

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Christopher Reeve's wife said she remembers how he dealt with his own tragedy as she tries to work through the "void in our home life" after his death. "It was always his intention to keep life going even after adversity," Dana Reeve told The Associated Press in her first interview since her husband died Oct. 10.
"That was the spirit he lived by." The woman who spent nine years caring for her famous husband -- the one-time Hollywood "Superman" turned activist for spinal cord research after a horse-riding accident -- says she will soon return to her own acting career.
