COLUMBUS (AP) -- J.J. Sullinger scored 11 of his 15 points in the first half as Ohio State built a 24-point lead on the way to an 82-50 victory over Robert Morris on Tuesday night in the regional championship of the Guardians Classic.
The Buckeyes (2-0) advance to the tournament semifinals next Tuesday in Kansas City against an opponent to be determined.
The 2-0 start is Ohio State's best since winning its first six games three years ago. That team went on to win a share of the Big Ten title.

Je'Kel Foster and Matt Sylvester each scored 11 points and Terence Dials added 10 for Ohio State, which stretched its lead with its subs late in the game.
Mark Anderson led Robert Morris (1-1) with 20 points, with Chaz McCrommon adding 13.
The Buckeyes, who beat Towson 74-53 in Monday night's opening round, were up 40-16 at the half after shooting 61 percent from the field (17-of-28) to Robert Morris' 24 percent (7-of-29). Only three players scored for the Colonials, led by Anderson who scored their first 12 points.
In the opening seven minutes, the Colonials missed nine of their first 10 field-goal attempts while Ohio State was building a 14-2 lead. Six Buckeyes scored in the early spurt, with Sullinger and point guard Brandon Fuss-Cheatham each scoring four points.
No one other than Anderson scored for Robert Morris until just 3:20 remained in the opening half when Joseph Ison scored on a rebound follow. To that point, Anderson was 5-for-7 from the field and his teammates were a combined 0-for-16.

The Buckeyes shot 53 percent from the field for the game and 12 of 13 players scored.
Sullinger hit 7 of 8 shots from the field and added six rebounds and two assists.
Fuss-Cheatham shot and landed on a defender's foot in the first half, twisting his right ankle. He spent the rest of the game on the bench with a walking cast on his foot. He will be evaluated by doctors on Wednesday.
