Warren man promoted
State Trooper Jerad Sutton, Warren, of the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Warren Post, was promoted to the rank of sergeant by Col. Paul D. McClellan, state patrol superintendent. Sutton will transfer to the Medina Post to serve as assistant post commander.
Sutton joined the patrol in June 1999 as a member of the 134th Academy Class. He received his commission that December and was assigned to the Hiram Post. He transferred to his current post at Warren in December 2001, where he received an award for excellence in auto larceny enforcement in 2003 and two criminal patrol awards in 2002 and 2003.
Before joining the patrol, Sutton served with the U.S. Marines. A native of Kinsman, he lives in Warren with his wife, Amy, and their daughter, Analyse.
LAWYERS
Working in Dayton
Erin Stefanec, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Frank Stefanec of Poland, has successfully passed the Ohio Bar Exam. Erin graduated from Poland Seminary High School, Miami University in Oxford and the University of Dayton School of Law. She is employed by Faruki, Ireland and Cox Law Firm in Dayton.
Hubbard honors graduate
Albert J. Sauline III, a 1996 honors graduate of Hubbard High School, has passed the Ohio Bar Exam.
Atty. Sauline received his bachelor's degree in political science, with minors in both criminal justice and sociology, magna cum laude, in December 2000 from Youngstown State University.
He earned his law degree from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in May 2004 and took the bar exam in July. While attending OSU, he was president of two student organizations.
Sauline is the son of former Hubbard Mayor Albert Sauline Jr. and his wife, Marcia. He is the grandson of Ann Sauline and the late former Hubbard Mayor Albert Sauline Sr. of Hubbard, and Grace Moorhead and the late William Moorhead of Youngstown.
