Pews celebrate 50th anniversary at dinner party

XYOUNGSTOWN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. James Pew, 1534 Chattanooga Ave., was celebrated during a dinner party held Nov. 6 at Bobby D's Restaurant.
Hosts for the event were the couple's family, Cheryl Clowser of Youngstown and Dianne and John Sanders of Poland.
Also participating were the couple's five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Pew and the former Colleen Wilson were married Nov. 6, 1954, at Epworth Methodist Church.
Mrs. Pew retired in 1985 from the Youngstown Board of education as a librarian for Cleveland Elementary School after 13 years of service.
Mr. Pew was employed 38 years at Hynes Industries prior to retiring in 1992.
