Magees honored on 40th anniversary

XST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. -- Mr. and Mrs. Art Magee, 22223 Maple St., were honored on their 40th wedding anniversary during a surprise brunch held Oct. 17 at Davidson's Restaurant in Youngstown.
Hosts for the event were Mrs. Magee's sister and brother-in-law, Dianne and Mark Phillips of Youngstown.
The former Arlene Sebest and Mr. Magee were united in marriage Oct. 17, 1964, at St. Christine Church, Youngstown, and are members of St. Isaac Jogves Church.
The couple have two children, Tina Gardiner of East Pointe, Mich., and Jim Magee of St. Clair Shores, and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Magee is employed in accounts payable-customer service with PVS Chemicals in Detroit. Her husband retired in 2001 from Courtesy Transfer Inc. in Detroit, where he was a truck driver.
