XYOUNGSTOWN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 2 p.m. ceremony as Larisa Piwtorak and Thomas Hull Jr., both of Youngstown, were united in marriage Oct. 16 at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church.
The Rev. Michael Polosky officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Irene Piwtorak of Youngstown and Bohdan Piwtorak of South Bend, Ind., and the son of Carol Hull and Thomas Hull Sr., both of Youngstown.
The couple were honored afterward at a reception that took place in Antioch Hall.
The bride's sleeveless off-white gown was enhanced with pearl beading.
Dusty-rose gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Rebecca Reed of New Castle, Pa., and the bridesmaids, Cathie Hilston of Girard and Joyce Hennaman of Boardman.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, John Hull of Youngstown, and groomsmen were Jim Bielik and Dave Cutlip, both of Youngstown. Serving as ring bearer was the groom's cousin, Anthony Popio of Youngstown, and the usher was Tim Priester of Liberty.
The bride is a case manager with Community Corrections Association. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English from Youngstown and attended the University of Toledo College of Law.
The groom is pursuing bachelor's degrees in philosophy and anthropology at YSU and is employed part-time as a lotto clerk in Youngstown.
