XYOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown Baptist Church was the setting at 1 p.m. Oct. 9 as the Rev. Dave Watkins solemnized the marriage of Kristy Conrad and Dominic Altier.
Parents of the couple are Jack and Diane Conrad, 4266 Carlisle Ave., and Robert and Cathy Altier, 45 Milton Ave.
A reception was held at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, and the couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico.
They are living in Austintown.
The bride wore an ivory and silver organza gown designed in a princess style and enhanced with embroidery, beading and a chapel train.
Her sisters, Kelley Quigley and Kami Conrad, were matron and maid of honor, respectively, and bridesmaids were Jennifer Deem and Erin Rishel, the bride's cousins; Jessica Kachurek; and Jennifer McVay. They wore cognac and rust gowns. Flower girl was the bride's niece, Annaliese Quigley.
Joshua Altier served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Jonathan Walters; Stephen Mehlo; Justin Conrad, the bride's brother; David Quigley, her brother-in-law; and Timothy McVay.
Mrs. Altier graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in middle-childhood education. She is a permanent substitute teacher with the Lakeview School District in Cortland.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts from YSU and is a graphic designer with WKBN/WYFX.
