XYOUNGSTOWN -- Kara Vechiarelli and Frank Tarantino, both of 27 N. Hillside Drive, Canfield, exchanged marriage vows before the Rev. Joseph Tamburrini during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Oct. 9 at St. Edward Church.
Parents of the newlyweds are Anthony and Sherry Vechiarelli, 3710 Mercedes Place, Canfield, and Robert and Darlene Tarantino, 355 Aurora Drive.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Avalon Inn and Resort, Howland, then left for a honeymoon on a Caribbean cruise.
Mrs. Tarantino graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in communication. She is the store manager at Wet Seal Inc. in Niles.
Mr. Tarantino works at General Motors Corp., Lordstown. He is pursuing a degree in business management at Youngstown State University.
The bride's ivory gown was fashioned of Italian satin and styled in an A-line design with scoop neckline.
Kristin Leombruno was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Kim Vechiarelli, Stephanie Porter, Kristen DiPasqua and Kristin Garcia. They wore garnet-colored dresses. Junior bridesmaid was Erin Armstrong, and flower girls were Marissa White, Hailey Vechiarelli and Jaycie Castel.
Sharing the duties of best man were Tom DePinto and Justin Sudetic. Groomsmen were Andrew Tarantino, Justin Armstrong, A.J. Vechiarelli, Mark Leombruno, James Wilson and Michael Dota. Ring bearers were Nicolas and Anthony Leombruno.
