XYOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Jodi Kosko and James Mika Jr. took place at 2 p.m. Oct. 16 at St. Patrick Church.
Parents of the newlyweds are Joseph and Rosemary Kosko, 1835 McCollum Road, and James Sr. and Patricia Mika, 45 Wilma Ave.
The Rev. Edward Noga officiated, and a reception was held at The Elm Tree in Struthers.
The couple are living at 158 Hollywood Ave.
The bride's antique gold halter-style gown was adorned with sequins and crystals on the bodice, and the skirt extended to a cathedral train.
Her sister, Sharon Fusillo of Youngstown, was matron of honor, who wore a plum-colored gown. Junior bridesmaid was the groom's niece, Jennifer Moore of Boardman, and flower girl was Josephine Kobak of Youngstown, also his niece. They wore plum and ivory gowns.
Dr. Joseph Mika of Poland, the groom's cousin, performed the duties of best man, and junior groomsman was the bride's nephew, Matthew Fusillo of Youngstown. Ring bearer was her nephew, Dominic Fusillo of Youngstown, and ushers were the groom's brothers-in-law, Anthony Kobak of Youngstown and Jeff Moore of Boardman.
Mrs. Mika is employed as an infant-care professional at Hitchcock Woods Preschool in Boardman.
Her husband graduated from Youngstown State University and is a teacher with Cleveland City Schools.
