Bendens mark golden jubilee at Saxon Club

XPOLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Norman E. Benden Sr. of Poland were the guests of honor Oct. 30 at a dinner at the Saxon Club in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Norman Jr. and Barbara Benden of Hudson and Pamela and Kevin Colborg of Arvada, Colo. Four grandchildren complete their family.
The occasion also was marked in August when the entire family visited the White Fence Farm in Golden, Colo.
Mr. Benden and the former Jacqueline Liga were married Oct. 16,1954.
He retired in 1992 from the East Ohio Gas Co., where he worked for 33 years. He also served in the Ohio National Guard for 10 years.
