ALYSSA PERUZZICHRISTOPHER BROOKBANK
XGIRARD -- Alyssa Peruzzi and Christopher Brookbank were married during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 9 at Girard First United Methodist Church.
The bride is a daughter of Dennis Peruzzi, 4002 Hermitage Hills Blvd., Hermitage, Pa., and the late Virginia Peruzzi. The groom is a son of Jeffrey and Diane Brookbank, 2485 Poplar St.
The Rev. Douglas Meek officiated, and a reception was held at the Mahoning Country Club.
The couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and live at 410 Elruth Court.
An ivory, strapless, princess-style gown was worn by the bride. It was adorned with crystal beading, pearls and metallic embroidery, and the skirt fell to a semicathedral train.
Matron of honor was Megan Glus, and bridesmaids were Megan Isbell, the bride's cousin; Amanda Brookbank, the groom's sister-in-law; Molly Murray; Cara Fisher; Carrie Boyd; and Sarah Hogg. They wore champagne-colored gowns. The groom's niece, Jaelyn Brookbank, was flower girl.
Timothy Brookbank was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Brett Peruzzi, the bride's brother, and James Boyd, Jay Cattron, Jim Glus, John Cline and Christopher Wilson.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Mrs. Brookbank is a special-education teacher with the Lordstown Local School District.
Her husband is maintenance equipment superintendent with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources in Ravenna. He served in the U.S. Army.
